Miroslav Dvorský

The renowned tenor Miroslav Dvorský studied singing at the State Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, as well as at the Studio di Perfezionamento in Milan’s La Scala.
His successful career began in 1983 at the Slovak National Theatre Opera, where he made his debut in May of that year as Nemorino in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore. In 1986, he became a soloist of the Slovak National Theatre Opera and later a soloist at the Vienna State Opera. He is a laureate of several international competitions and belongs to the internationally recognized elite of opera singers, performing on the most prestigious European and overseas stages.
Miroslav Dvorský is a frequent guest at leading opera houses, including Royal Opera House Covent Garden London, Teatro alla Scala Milan, Opéra National de Paris Bastille, San Francisco Opera, Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Sächsische Staatsoper Dresden, Staatsoper Hamburg, Wiener Staatsoper, Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, New National Theatre Tokyo, Teatro Carlo Felice Genova, Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Florence, Opera La Ville de Marseille, Cincinnati Opera, Canadian Opera Toronto, National Theatre and State Opera Prague, Teatro Comunale Bologna, and many others.
He is also a regular guest on concert stages in Lille, Paris, Milan, Salzburg, Vienna, Dresden, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Wiener Konzerthaus, Wiener Musikverein, Stefaniensaal Graz, Salle Pleyel Paris, and at prestigious music festivals such as Wiener Festwochen, MDR Musiksommer, and Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with world-renowned conductors such as Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Nello Santi, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Riccardo Chailly, Fabio Luisi, Christoph Eschenbach, Daniele Gatti, Simone Young, Carlo Rizzi, Donald Runnicles, and Jiří Bělohlávek. He has also performed alongside opera stars including Renato Bruson, Leo Nucci, Plácido Domingo, Ferruccio Furlanetto, Paata Burchuladze, Barbara Frittoli, Adrianne Pieczonka, Edita Gruberová, Karita Mattila, Angela Gheorghiu, Stefania Bonfadelli, Grace Bumbry, Eva Marton, Katia Ricciarelli, and Angela Denoke.
His recordings have been released by ORF Wien, NDR Hannover, Slovak Radio, Czech Radio, Supraphon, Opus, Naxos, Discover International, and others.
